Uses

Enalapril is used to treat high blood pressure. Reducing hypertension helps in preventing stroke, heart attack and kidney problems. It is used to help prevent heart failure and develop heart failure to help prevent a certain heart problem (left ventricular dysfunction).

Enalapril is related to a class of medicines known as ACE inhibitors. It works by resting the blood vessels so that the blood flows more easily.

How To Use Enalapril Maleate Solution

Directly take this medication by mouth or by your doctor at home without taking food, usually once or twice daily.

Measure the dose carefully using special measuring instruments / spoon. Do not use domestic spoon because you can not get the right dose.

Dosage is based on your medical condition and treatment response. For children, the dose is also based on weight.

Use Enalapril regularly to get the most benefit. To help you remember, take it at the same time every day. It is important to continue taking this medicine even if you feel OK. Most people with high blood pressure do not feel sick.

For the treatment of hypertension, it may take several weeks for you to get the full benefit of this medicine. For the treatment of heart failure, you may need weeks to months to get the full benefit of this drug.

Tell your doctor if your condition worsens (for example, your blood pressure readings increase)

Side Effects

Dizziness, laziness, or weakness can be because your body gets adjusted in medicine. Dry cough may also occur. If any of these effects persists or worsens, tell your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Precautions

Before taking Enalapril, tell your doctor or pharmacist whether you are allergic to it; Or for other ace inhibitors (such as benazepril); Or if you have any other allergens. This product can have passive elements, which can cause allergic or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

Before using Enalapril, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, in particular: the history of an allergic reaction in which the swelling of the face / lips / tongue / throat (angioedema), the process of filtering the blood (such as LDL apheresis, Dialysis). Some products contain ingredients that can increase your blood pressure or spoil your heart failure. Tell your pharmacist what products you are using, and ask how to use them safely (especially cough and cold products, diet aids, or NSAIDs such as ibuprofen / naproxen).

If you are receiving injections for beekeeping / wasp sting, allergic reactions may be very serious and even taking enalapril. Make sure all your doctors know that you use this medicine.

Over Dose

If someone is treated and has serious symptoms like having trouble going out or breathing, call 911. Otherwise, call the Poison Control Center immediately. US residents can call their local venom control center at 1-800-222-1222. Canadians can call a provincial poison control center. Symptoms of overdose may include: severe dizziness, unconsciousness

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose, then as soon as you remember, take it. If it is near the next dose time, then leave the thesis supplement and start your normal dose program again. Do not double the dose to catch up.
