Uses

Pregabalin, sold under the brand name Lyrica among others. This drug is used for the treatment of pain due to nerve damage due to diabetes or ringworm infection.

How to use Pregabalin Tablet

Before starting the Pregabalin, read the medication guide provided by your pharmacist and whenever you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Take this medicine from the mouth, as directed by your doctor, usually once a meal after a meal. Swallow whole tablets. Do not split, crush or chew. Doing this increases the risk of side effects, you can release all medicines at once.

Dosage is based on your medical condition and treatment response. To reduce your risk of side effects (such as dizziness and drowsiness), your doctor may direct you to start this medication on low dose and gradually increase your dose. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.

Precautions

Before taking Pregabalin, tell your doctor or pharmacist whether you are allergic to it; Or if you have any other allergens. This product can have passive elements, which can cause allergic or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

Missed Dose

If you remember a dose and remember before bedtime, then take it after breakfast before breakfast. If you remember the next morning, take dose after morning meal. If you remember after the morning, then leave the missed dose. Take your next dose at regular times. Do not double the dose to catch up.

Storage

Store at room temperature away from light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medications away from children and pets.
